Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and FlightBestie ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using FlightBestie, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service. You must be at least 18 to sign up.

The service

FlightBestie looks for cheap flights from the home airport you choose and emails you the ones we think are worth knowing about. We don't sell tickets: you book directly with an airline or booking site, and that booking is between you and them.

Fares come from third parties and change constantly. A deal may be gone or more expensive by the time you see it, and we don't guarantee any number of deals, any level of savings, or that any fare will be available. We may change, add or remove features, airports and how often we send emails at any time.

Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your login details safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• A membership is for one person. Don't share, resell or republish our deal emails or content.
• Don't misuse the service, including scraping it, accessing it by automated means, interfering with it, or using it for anything unlawful.

Free trial, billing and renewal

• New members get a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your membership starts automatically and you're charged the annual price shown at checkout (currently $49 per year).
• Your membership renews automatically every year, and you authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method at each renewal until you cancel. If the price changes, we'll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
• Prices don't include taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend or end your membership.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future renewals; your membership stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. All payments are final and non-refundable, including for partial periods, unused time, or if you forget to cancel before a trial ends or a renewal, except where a refund is required by law.

Our content

The service, our emails and everything we publish belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own travel planning while you're a member. If you send us a travel tip, you let us edit and publish it, with credit to you if we choose to.

Ending your access

We may suspend or end your account at any time, including if we believe you've broken these terms. If we end it because you broke them, you won't get a refund.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We aren't a travel agent and aren't responsible for airlines, booking sites, fares, schedule changes, cancellations, delays, fees or anything else about your trip.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost money, savings, profits, data or travel. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Brown County, Wisconsin, and you agree to their jurisdiction. To the extent the law allows, claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action, and within one year of when they arose.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that can't be waived by contract. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email or on the site. Continuing to use FlightBestie after a change means you accept it.
